BlackBerry Twitter Experience with TweetGenius

Author: admin | Filed under: BlackBerry

I have just stumbled across yet another twitter application named TweetGenius.logo tg 300x49 BlackBerry Twitter Experience with TweetGenius

After a few hours of use, I found myself actually falling in love with this application.

Two things stood out for me:

(1) I can RT messages. Something I wasn’t able to achieve with my previous Twitter app.

(2) I have an option to exit the application without it running in the background and as a result drain away my battery life.

TweetGenius actually throws-in a new dimension in the way I now interact with my Twitter peeps.

I like the concept of a notification front screen. It’s the first things you see once the app is loaded. This front/splash screen provides direct access to the followingtg1 300x200 BlackBerry Twitter Experience with TweetGenius

  • Friends Timeline
  • @Replies
  • Direct Messages

Assisted with a little speech-bubble message counter - Slick

User Experience

What’s even more slick is the whole browsing experience.

Smooth sliding transition screen view gets you from reading a tweet to checking out a user’s profile seamlessly.

Verdict

Overall, I am utterly satisfied with this product - has certainly won my vote.
Any future improvements and upgrade would be a bonus so long as its current mould is not compromised.

Do you have this app too? How do you find it?

I need to give it a try, been using twitterberry for a while now and it pretty much has all the features you mention in your post. I love how the TweetGenius interface looks though…

    Samuel,
You really must give it a try. I find it very addictive.
Just like you, I was previously using TwitterBerry…It did the job, but TG took it a step further.

Meanwhile, I heard TweetDeck is now available on the Iphone…We need this on BlackBerry.
